Grandmother going to a Dr.'s appointment arrested for trespassing - at the hospital where she had an appointment! CALL-TO-ACTION!
On December 8th, 2020, sixty-two year old, Carola Michel, who is exempt from wearing a mask, was grabbed from behind by a hospital security guard as she was going through a door at Alta View Hospital. Carola's foot got caught in the door and when the guard let her go, she fell to the floor. The police arrived and Officer Thoman of the Sandy City police, handcuffed her, claiming she was trespassing, took her to the police car, fingerprinted her and cited her for 'criminal trespass' and then released her. How does one trespass at an establishment where one has a scheduled appointment?
At some point in this attack on the woman, she did get a small cut on the top of her hand and the police wondered aloud, while they were escorting her out of the hospital, where the blood was coming from!
Carola is a soft-spoken, polite woman and did not resist this attack on herself by three uniformed men. She deserves better than this!
Carola's court date has been continued to March 18th, 2021 and between now and then, we need to flood the Sandy City Police department 801-568-7200 with phone calls, respectfully but firmly, demanding that the charges be dropped.
Also, please call Alta View Hospital 801-501-2600 and insist they drop the charges and that they should be ashamed for traumatizing an elderly woman. This is shameful, that they had a client charged with criminal trespass. What was her criminality?
Another important call should be to Salt Lake County Sheriff, Rosie Rivera 385-468-7399 and insist she do her job as the ultimate law enforcement authority in the county and put a stop to these unlawful actions.
Make no mistake, they charged her with criminal trespass (or whatever else comes to their mind in other cases), because there is no law that you must wear a mask!
Please take the time to make these calls and repeat them several times a week, if you are able to do so.

If you're new to this story, Carola Michel, a grandmother and refugee who escaped East Germany was arrested by Sandy City Police Officer Thoman and prosecuted by Sandy City for not wearing a mask at Grainger Medical Clinic while waiting for her doctor appointment. Carola believes she had a mask exemption and she already had Covid. The American Red Cross was looking for Covid anti bodies and Carola showed up to serve the public interest but her good deed for the day turned into a nightmare.
Her trial by jury date is Thursday June 16th at 3 pm in the Sandy City Justice Court room #2. SAVE THE DATE ! so you can be there. We must not let these filthy cops and attorneys abuse our neighbors any more. They will come for all of us in time. Carola escaped East Germany behind the Iron Curtain. She knows her history.
What can we do collectively? We own what happens in this republic. The People are responsible for all that is done in their name. Will you be a court reporter for Carola? Will you observe and swear affidavits regarding what you see? We need 30 people who will not support Sandy City's wickedness and government overreach. You don't have to put up with this. There are simple steps we can take . If you are interested you may reach us by call or text:

Last December, before Christmas Carola Michel, a gentle, easy going Grandma from Sandy, was arrested by Sandy City Police for not wearing a mask to her scheduled doctors appointment. She had a mask exemption. Sandy City is prosecuting her with criminal trespass.
Carola and half of her family were smuggled out of East Germany when she was a young. She grew up listening to the horror stories about the German Police State. In America the rights of the individual are supposed to be protected. She chooses to stand for her rights as a child of God and one of the People. She insists on a trial by jury of her peers if the charges are not dropped.
On May 12 Carola served the doctor and Sandy Justice Court a counter claim. Carola was abused by the over zealous security guard with Granger Medical before Officer Thoman arrived, not being a witness to anything, who promptly arrested and handcuffed her. She was bleeding slightly on her way to the squad car.
Other than Carola there is no victim or injured party in this case. She did not commit a criminal trespass. She has repeatedly demanded a dismissal so life can get back to normal. Sandy City will not let her go.
STAY TUNED!
Carola is number 13 on the hearing list beginning at 1:OO pm. This means that she probably won't be heard until close to 2 pm. Please join her as one of the People to stand for her rights. A thousand people watching the judge and and the other filthy attorneys does make a difference. There are remedies still "at law" and we must claim and use them. JOIN US tomorrow. SPREAD AND SHARE PLEASE.
