The next meeting for People's Rights Area 12 Douglas County will be on Saturday, June 1st at 10 a.m. at Journey Church 1600 NE Diamond Lake Blvd. Roseburg. There will be NO meeting in May due to the Memorial holiday weekend 

This will be our new meeting place for several months, hopefully this will be more central to all members and guests from Canyonville to Drain and other parts of the county.  

I am now an Area Assistant as well as Jeanette Bondsteel and Loretta Johnson. 

The April 27th meeting was very informative! The minutes are available upon request. They will be emailed to the PR members.

At the PRO Area 12 meeting On March 16^th, the group decided to use the SLACK platform for communications. SLACK for People’s Rights Douglas County Area 12 is a PRIVATE platform and is now available to request to join. We will discuss it in more detail at the meeting.  An attachment will be sent upon request for more information and how to use Slack.

One of the first and most critical components to set in place is communications. Your PR group must have a site where you can communicate with each other, teams can work together. efficiently when we can share important news and events.  There are several Channels to choose from, to read, and post information and direct messaging between members as well.  

You will not be able to communicate with other PR members on the Slack site unless you are a PR member.  This PR Area 12 site is our “family room” where we share lots of information and get to know each other.
