Rewind to the recent incident with Amos Miller, the Amish farmer singled out & driven to bankruptcy by the federal government after which the feds started a program for ALL Americans to register their backyard gardens.  THIS is why it is NOT a good idea to register ANYTHING with the feds.  Now it's not only the back yard gardens but also our back yard chickens.  It usually ends up like the godfather - we end up with "an offer you can't refuse".
